How to see them
Section titled “How to see them”The Order note field is in the Payment card, below Gift and PO number.
How to edit them
Section titled “How to edit them”Type directly into the Order note field before creating the order — it’s saved as the order’s native Shopify note.
How to add order notes to the invoice
Section titled “How to add order notes to the invoice”Shopify’s default invoice template already includes the order note — if yours doesn’t, the template has likely been customized to remove it.
How to add order notes to the order confirmation
Section titled “How to add order notes to the order confirmation”Same as the invoice — check that the order confirmation template still includes the order note, or add it back if it’s been customized out.
How to add order notes to the packing slip
Section titled “How to add order notes to the packing slip”Packing slip templates are managed separately, through Shopify’s Order Printer app or your theme — add the order note there the same way.
